30-second spot featuring grandson will air online and on local television

(Timonium, MD) – Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger today debuted a new digital and television ad that will air from now until Election Day, November 6. The 30-second spot called “Charlie” features the Congressman’s 1-year-old grandson and encourages voters to support leaders that are healthy role models for children.

The Congressman is running for his ninth term representing Maryland’s Second District, which includes portions of Anne Arundel, Harford, Howard and Baltimore Counties as well as Baltimore City.

“I am proud to deliver a positive and uplifting message that is true to the same values I’ve held over the last three decades: helping people, staying accountable and sticking to the basics,” Congressman Ruppersberger said. “People want solutions – not name-calling and cheap partisan shots.”

In the ad, Congressman Ruppersberger pledges to prioritize education, affordable and accessible healthcare and a fairer tax system for all families.
