For the First Time, Maryland Voters Will be Allowed to Vote Several Days Before the Primary Election

(Randallstown, Maryland) – Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD), Senator Benjamin L. Cardin (D-MD), Mrs. Myrna Cardin, and other local elected officials will take advantage of Maryland’s new Early Voting law and cast their ballots for the Primary Election on Friday, September 3, 2010, in Randallstown.

In a statewide referendum in 2008, Maryland voters approved a Constitutional Amendment allowing early voting to make it more convenient for citizens to exercise their right to vote. For the first time, voters in Maryland will be allowed to vote several days before the Primary Election.

Early Voting centers will be open every day from Friday, September 3, 2010, until Thursday, September 9, 2010, with the exception of Sunday, September 5, 2010, when the centers will be closed.
