(Timonium, Maryland) – Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD) urges Marylanders to exercise their civic duty and get out and vote. Tuesday, November 2, 2010, is Election Day. Polls will be open from 7 am until 8 pm. Every person in line at 8 pm will be allowed to vote.

“It is down to the wire. Tomorrow is decision day in Maryland. It is critically important that citizens make their voices heard and vote for leaders they would like to represent them in federal, state, and local government,” said Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD).

Congressman Ruppersberger pledges to continue to make creating jobs and rebuilding Maryland’s economy top priorities. When you have a job, you can support your family and your community. In Congress, Congressman Ruppersberger believes we must continue to pass legislation that gives business incentives to create jobs, hire Americans, and buy equipment.

Through the Congressman’s service on the Intelligence and Appropriations Committees, he is also focused on keeping our country safe, preserving the Chesapeake Bay, strengthening our education system, ensuring seniors have access to affordable prescription drugs, taking care of our active military personnel and veterans, and funding road and transit improvements.

Congressman Ruppersberger currently represents Maryland’s 2nd Congressional District. The District includes Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Harford County, and Baltimore City.
